K.C. Scott grew up on one of Michigan’s true treasures, Gull Lake. Located just outside of Kalamazoo, Gull Lake is one of the best fishing lakes in the State of Michigan. It’s also the place where K.C.’s father introduced him to the world of fishing and diving. From a very young age, his family spent Spring Breaks down in the Florida Keys where his every waking hour was spent fishing and diving. His days were filled chasing Tarpon, Snapper, Grouper and any creature willing to put up a fight. During those magical days he fell in love with the ocean, its mysteries and its creatures.

Artistic, even at a young age, K.C. won many awards throughout Elementary and High School. However, when it came time to choose a field of study in college he chose business over his art. In part, because it partnered better with his love for the game of golf. He played college golf for 2 years at Michigan State and 3 years at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and professionally on the Mini Tour circuits after graduation. He once qualified for the PGA Tour’s Buick Open where to his amazement he shared a locker next to golf great, Tiger Woods. After 6 years of dedication and frustration on the golf circuit he decided to take a break from the game he loved to pursue his other passions, his art and the environs of the lakes and oceans.

And here he is today, KSCOTTUNDERWATER, where his passion for art and water have come together.
